In Mrs. Dalloway, Virginia Woolf creates a portrait of a single sidereal day in Mrs. Clarissa Dalloways life. When we meet this woman, she is preoccupied with the last-minute details of ships company preparation while in her mind she is something a good deal more than a perfect society hostess.
